What Teach Me Cafe Offers

Reading

Our goal is to create readers that flourish in and outside school walls. Allow Teach Me Café to support your child’s reading journey.  Highly qualified teachers, one on one or in a small group, will provide guidance structure and guidance as your child navigates through reading assignments while practicing and applying research-based strategies. Teachers will show how reading strategies can be applied to all academic areas (even the areas considered difficult)  and make learning stress-free.   

Writing

Writing, a continuing and constructive process, is often a dreaded time during school hours.   Let Teach Me Café take the fear away by showing your child writing can be fun.  We will guide your child through the writing process using research-based strategies.  They will learn how writing connects to the real world, enhances other academic subjects, by creating critical thinkers and problem solvers.  

Math

Teach Me Café aims to provide students with a fun-filled and rigorous math time.  During this time students will be engaged in lessons designed to promote and enhance problem and critical thinking skills. The lessons will also provide opportunities for students to practice with common core standards.   

ESOL

Teach Me Café ESOL teachers will work with students to build language fluency (oral and written) and help construct a cultural bond between their native country and new country experiences.

Alabama- Monday Tuesday Wednesday 10-5
Georgia – Thursday-Friday 9-4  
Saturday 9-3
